1. How we collect and use information

We follow a strict principle of data minimization. We do not actively collect your name, phone number, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

No accounts: This app requires no registration or login to use. We do not create an account for you, and we do not keep any identity-related records of you on our servers.

Subscription-related data: To provide subscription services, we process subscription-related data through the following third parties.

• Apple App Store: Your purchases and subscription records are handled directly by Apple. We have no access to your Apple ID, payment methods, or personal profile. We only receive anonymous subscription status from Apple (whether a subscription is active, which period it’s in, and so on) in order to unlock the corresponding content for you in the app.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to keep your subscription state in sync across your devices. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier it generates, plus subscription events (such as activation, renewal, cancellation). It does not receive your name, email, or any other information that could directly identify you. RevenueCat is operated by RevenueCat, Inc., with servers located in the United States. Its privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Local data storage: Any preference data you generate inside the app (such as favorites, playback progress, theme settings) is stored only on your device. If you have enabled iCloud sync, this data will be synced between your devices through Apple’s iCloud service. We have no ability to access, view, or store this data — it is entirely under your control and Apple’s.

Crash reports: We do not integrate any third-party crash-monitoring SDK. If you have enabled “Share with App Developers” in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, Apple will provide us with fully anonymized crash logs that we use to fix bugs. You can turn this off at any time on the same screen.

Website analytics: lofiswitch.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous page-view data. This service does not set cookies, does not identify individual users, and does not perform cross-site tracking. It is used only to understand overall site traffic.

What we do not do:

• We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
• We do not collect your health, financial, biometric, or other sensitive personal information
• We do not sell or share your information with ad networks or data brokers
• We do not profile your behavior or run personalized advertising inside the app

2. Permissions we may request

To provide basic functionality, the app may request the following system permissions:

Network access: Used to validate subscriptions, sync subscription state across devices, and load streaming music content.

Notifications (optional): Used only to let you know when a new monthly series goes live or when there is an important update. You can turn this off at any time in iOS Settings → Lofi Switch → Notifications.

Background audio: Allows the app to keep playing music when you switch to another app or lock the screen. This permission does not involve any data collection.

3. Data security

We apply reasonable security measures to the limited data we do collect. All data exchanged with third-party services (Apple, RevenueCat, Cloudflare) is transmitted over HTTPS. Please note, however, that no internet transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure. The security of your local data also depends on the security of your device and your Apple ID — we recommend you take care to protect both.

4. Your rights (access, correction, deletion)

Because we do not collect or store any of your personally identifiable information:

No need for access or correction: Since we hold no personal profile of you, there is nothing to look up or correct.

Data deletion: If you wish to delete all data the app has generated, simply uninstall the app — the locally stored data will be removed in full.

5. Children

This app is intended for a general audience and contains no material unsuitable for minors. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors. We recommend that parents or guardians help children under 13 use this app and manage subscription settings on the device.
